This is the online extension of the White County Republican Committee. The Committee meeting is held at 7:00 pm on the 4th Thursday of the month in the Wilbur Mills Court Building, 301 W Arch St, Searcy. Meetings are open to the public.

JULY MEETING

The regular monthly meeting of the White County Republican Committee is scheduled for Thursday, July 24, 7PM, at the Wilbur D. Mills Court Building, 301 W. Arch Street, Searcy. Jonathan Dismang, candidate for House District #49 will be our speaker. Most of our members have met Jonathan and know that he is a strong candidate. District 49 covers a substantial part of White County (the western part of the county south of Rose Bud; the southern part of the county including Beebe, McRae, Garner, Griffithville, Georgetown; and the area east and northeast of Searcy including West Point, Judsonia, and Bald Knob). District 49 essentially wraps around but does not include Searcy, nor does not encompass Bradford, Pangburn, Rose Bud or Russell. If you have friends who live in District 49, I hope you will bring them on July 24 to meet and hear Jonathan. Also, for more information, check out his website: www.jonathandismang.com.

STATE CONVENTION

The Republican Party of Arkansas will hold its state convention at the Embassy Suites in Little Rock on Saturday, July 26, beginning at 10AM. White County delegates elected in June include: Cindy Barker, Mike Chalenburg, Mike Cleveland, Doris Coward, Jonathan Dismang, Jim Dixon, Chase Dugger, Larry Fisher, Susan Hammons, Gene T. Hill, Joe and Velma Killough, Johnnie Long, Jack and Joanne McKinney, Bob and Doris Parish, Mona Pritchett, Bobby Quattlebaum, Harriet Raley, Kyle Reeves, Guilford Rice, Kyle Stokes. Alternates are Mary Ann Arnett, Cameron and Melissa Cooper, Sue Helm, Ed Land and Gail Stokes. If you are willing to drive and let others ride with you, or if you wish to ride but not drive, we will finalize carpool plans immediately after the County Committee meeting on July 24.
